SSIP Accredited
SSIP was founded in May 2009 following the Government report on Accelerating the SME economic engine: through transparent, simple and strategic procurement. The mission of SSIP is to reduce occupational health and safety assessment duplication. There are currently in excess of 81,975 suppliers registered with an SSIP Member Scheme including Powell & Co. We are SSIP Approved, Principal Contractor and Contractor.
UKCA Accredited
The UKCA marking is the product marking used for products being placed on the market in Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales). The UKCA marking applies to most products for which the CE marking could be used. SCCS provide certification of factory production control, bolting and welding systems to enable companies to carry out UKCA accreditation.
SCCS
The Steel Construction Certification Scheme (SCCS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of The BCSA and provides a Quality Management Systems certification service for steelwork contracting organisations. SCCS has developed additional certification and monitoring services for the steelwork contractors with integrated or separate Environmental and Health & Safety management systems.
